A round of upkeep improvements that remove day-to-day friction: save products even when you don't know the price or cost, manage barcodes without leaving the location screen, see at a glance when background tasks last ran, and trust that refunds and edits made in Shopify reach the WMS.
Save Products Without a Price or Cost
- Price and cost are now optional — if you don't know a value, just leave it blank and save.
- A missing price or cost no longer blocks you from creating a product or from fixing its SKU, UPC, or locations.
- The fields are still there whenever you do want to fill them in.
Manage UPCs Straight from Product Locations
- A new Manage UPCs button on Manage Product Location lets you edit a product's barcodes without starting over from search.
- When you come back, you land on the same product you were working on — your selection and its bins are still there.
- Works on both desktop and the handheld (PDA).
- The handheld location screen also gains an Open product shortcut to jump to the full product page.
See When Scheduled Tasks Last Ran
- The Scheduled Tasks settings tab now shows when each task last ran and whether it finished successfully.
- Tasks that haven't run yet clearly read "never," so it's obvious what's active.
- Hover the time to see the exact date and time.
Reliable Shopify Order Updates
- Refunds, edits, and cancellations made in Shopify on older orders now reliably update the matching order in the WMS — previously some of these couldn't be matched and were skipped.
- This means a fully refunded order is cancelled and its stock restored, and edited orders are flagged or re-synced, even for orders placed before this link existed.
